I dont want to get onto the argument/discussion whether Islam is good/bad or it is the problem with Indian Muslims or Pakistani Muslims.
I think the word ISLAM means problem. So what if its not the Indian Muslims in in this case ? But it was no one else but the Indian Muslims in case of the Delhi blasts.
When Indira Gandhi was shot, many sikhs were killed though they had nothing to do with it. Then why not do the same with the muslims ? Coz in this case, its not the matter of one, but hundreds and thousands of lives. So are they spared because they are not your congressmen ? This is my question to the govt. of India.
Muslims are desease and every desease needs a cure !

Best known for her alabaster skin and being Playboy's pick for Hollywood's hottest starlet, Scarlett Johansson is often the subject of red carpet analysis. But to the dismay of this year's Oscar red carpet critics, she was MIA at the recent awards. Instead, the actress opted to team with the international agency Oxfam, which fights against global poverty and hunger. At left, Scarlett joins in a game with children at the Oxfam-funded Dalit school in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, as part of a 10-day trip through India and Sri Lanka.

UK 'no resources for Mumbai attack'

British security services 'couldn't cope with Mumbai-style attack' claims Patrick Mercer

British security forces would not be able cope with a Mumbai-style terrorist attack, according to the chair of an influential parliamentary committee.

Patrick Mercer said a new anti-terror unit was needed with "a battalion's worth" of 500 highly specialised policemen and soldiers who could be called upon in case of attack.

The chair of the Commons counter-terrorism sub committee said the Olympics in London would be a "magnet" for terrorists and attacks like the one seen in India "could just as well happen" in UK cities.

Video Released Of Kidnapped French Aid Worker.

"A French aid worker kidnapped in Afghanistan earlier this month has appeared in a video with two rifles pressed to either side of his head and chains around his legs.

In the video, obtained by news agencies in Afghanistan, the dirt-streaked man barely seems to open his eyes as he pleads for his release.

"I have been here for the last eight days, fully in the black," says the hostage, who i More..dentifies himself as Dany Egreteau.

Egreteau was captured by gunmen in Kabul Nov. 3 as he drove to work with another aid worker, who managed to escape. An Afghan who tried to prevent the kidnapping was killed.

It was unclear when the video was taken, although Egreteau's statement suggests it was shot just over a week after he was ambushed.

His voice trembled at times. He refers to a ransom demand, begging for someone to pay it off.

A French official said authorities confirmed that the video showed Egreteau. The official would not comment further and spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity surrounding hostage-takings.

Security has deteriorated across Afghanistan over the last two years, and the capital, Kabul, has seen a spike in crimes against Westerners in the last several weeks.

Last month, a British-South African dual citizen aid worker, Gayle Williams, was killed by Taliban gunmen while walking to work. Also, two employees of the international shipping company DHL, one a British citizen and the other a South African, were killed by a gunman outside their office.

Egreteau worked for Solidarite Laique — or Secular Solidarity — which describes itself as a not-for-profit group working to promote education and health care, among other issues."

2,700-year-old marijuana found in Chinese tomb

"Stash seems to have been intended for buried shaman to use in the afterlife"

THE CANADIAN PRESS

"OTTAWA – Researchers say they have located the world's oldest stash of marijuana, in a tomb in a remote part of China.

The cache of cannabis is about 2,700 years old and was clearly ``cultivated for psychoactive purposes," rather than as fibre for clothing or as food, says a research paper in the Journal of Experimental Botany.

The 789 grams of dried cannabis was buried alongside a light-haired, blue-eyed Caucasian man, likely a shaman of the Gushi culture, near Turpan in northwestern China."

Russian president sees Obama flexible on missile defense

Lima: Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said on Sunday he believed US president-elect Barack Obama could change Washington's position over a hotly contested plan for a US missile defense shield in Eastern Europe.

Asked if he saw a chance of a shift on the issue under Obama, Medvedev told reporters: "I think there are chances, because if the position of the current administration on this question looks extremely inflexible, the position of the president-elect looks more careful."
